Logo created for the Pentagon Soccer Club for their 40-year anniversary in 2017 and their annual Donovan Cup match against the British Armed Forces team.

Did some sketching and collaborating with the club to get from the 2003 version (in all its clip arty glory) to a design that was shaped like a Pentagon. However, we ditched that idea because it looked too much like a "challenge coin" and the use of a Pentagon shape felt forced and overdone. After surveying designs from the English Premier League and Spanish La Liga, we settled on a more traditional shape with a modern scroll, and worked the pentagon into the negative space of the ball.
